LIVERight Gala Wrap-up

Stars were shining at our 2016 LIVERight Galas in the fall  – and they weren’t just the performers. Across the country, we honoured outstanding physicians, research teams, donors, transplant recipients and organ donors for their contributions to the CLF’s mission of bringing liver research to life. Guests enjoyed live music from entertainers ranging from Barenaked Ladies and American Idol performer Scott MacIntyre in the east to the Reuben Kincaids and the Moon Coin Show Band in the west. We want to thank all our volunteers, sponsors, supporters, honourees and guests for helping raise over $750,000 for liver research. We hope to see you again this year. Stay tuned for details!

Tip of the Month
When a new year begins, many of us commit to making healthy lifestyle changes – losing weight, getting more exercise, quitting smoking or drinking and  eating healthy. But some take it a step further by embarking on ‘cleanses’ intended to purge the body after holiday excesses.
